1.1 Company Overview

Maidvy, operated by Logibyte Technologies, is a leading provider of professional domestic help and maid services across multiple cities in India. Our platform is dedicated to delivering reliable, verified, and skilled household assistance to meet diverse client needs.

1.2 Scope of Services

We offer a comprehensive range of domestic services:

  • All-Rounder Maids
  • Live-In Maids (24x7 Support)
  • Baby Caretakers
  • Japa Maids for postnatal and mother care
  • Patient Caregivers
  • Cooking Maids
  • On-Demand Domestic Helpers

These services are designed to cater to various household requirements, ensuring comfort, convenience, and peace of mind for our clients.

1.3 Purpose of These Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions clearly define:

  • The scope of services provided by Maidvy
  • Responsibilities of clients during the service period
  • Our operational guidelines and policies

By using our services, clients agree to abide by these terms, which are enforced to maintain transparency and service quality.

1.4 Updates and Modifications

Maidvy reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. All changes will be published on our official website and will take immediate effect upon publication. We encourage clients to review the terms regularly to stay informed about any updates.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 Range of Domestic Help Services

Maidvy offers a comprehensive portfolio of domestic help services, including but not limited to:

  • Daily house cleaning and maintenance - sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general upkeep of the premises.
  • Laundry, ironing, and dishwashing - assisting with household chores to maintain cleanliness and order.
  • Cooking and kitchen assistance - preparing meals, cutting vegetables, and supporting daily cooking requirements.
  • Infant and child care - professional baby caretakers and Japa maids for newborn, infant, and toddler care.
  • Patient care and elderly assistance - providing support and care for patients, seniors, and individuals with special needs.
  • On-demand or short-term household support - flexible services for temporary or occasional domestic requirements.

2.2 Service Facilitation

Maidvy operates as a service facilitator, connecting clients with skilled and trained domestic helpers. We ensure that the maids recommended meet the client's stated requirements for professional and reliable household support.

2.3 Client Supervision of Deployed Maids

Once a maid is deployed to the client's premises, she works directly under the client's supervision and management. The client is responsible for providing daily instructions, work schedules, and task allocation.

2.4 Service Engagement Clarification

Maidvy is not the direct employer of any deployed maid. Our role is limited to facilitation, coordination, and service management between the client and the domestic helper. The maid remains independently engaged, while Maidvy provides support through recruitment, verification, and customer service.

3. Booking and Deployment Process

3.1 Service Booking Confirmation

A service booking with Maidvy is confirmed only after:

  1. The client shares complete and accurate requirements, and
  2. The service agreement or booking process is successfully completed.

Without these steps, Maidvy will not be obligated to initiate the maid shortlisting or deployment process.

3.2 Maid Shortlisting and Profile Sharing

Based on the client's specific requirements, Maidvy will shortlist and share maid profiles within 2-4 working days, subject to the availability of suitable candidates.

3.3 Audio and Video Interviews

To ensure the client's satisfaction and proper matchmaking:

  • Audio or video interviews may be arranged with shortlisted candidates.
  • Clients can assess the maid's skills, communication, and suitability before finalizing deployment.

3.4 Deployment Timeline

The timeline for deployment depends on:

  • Candidate availability
  • Client location
  • Specific preferences and requirements

Maidvy strives to complete the deployment process within the estimated timeframe, but unforeseen delays may occur.

3.5 Client Responsibility for Accurate Requirements

Clients must provide complete and correct information regarding:

  • Household size
  • Work responsibilities
  • Preferred working hours
  • Any specific needs (child care, patient care, cooking, etc.)

This ensures efficient and accurate matchmaking between the client and the maid.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Obligation

Clients must make payments as per the agreed service plan or annual/semi-annual contract. All payments must be completed in the mode and timeline specified by Maidvy.

4.2 Non-Refundable Service Charges

Once a maid is successfully deployed, the service charges are non-refundable, except in situations explicitly agreed upon in writing by Maidvy.

4.3 Maid Salary Payment

The maid's salary is to be paid directly by the client, unless an alternative payment arrangement is clearly mentioned in the signed service agreement.

4.4 Consequences of Late or Non-Payment

Failure to make timely payments may lead to:

  • Temporary service suspension, or
  • Permanent termination of services without further obligation from Maidvy.

The client will remain liable for any outstanding amounts until fully cleared.

5. Replacement Policy

5.1 Replacement Guarantee

Maidvy offers a replacement guarantee to ensure uninterrupted domestic help services for our clients. Under this policy:

  • If the deployed maid resigns or is found unsuitable for the role, the client is entitled to replacements in accordance with the agreed service contract.
  • Maidvy will initiate the shortlisting and deployment of a replacement maid within 2-4 working days, subject to candidate availability and the client's location.

This policy is designed to maintain service continuity and client satisfaction throughout the contract period.

5.2 Conditions Where Replacements Will Not Be Provided

Maidvy reserves the right to withhold replacement services in the following situations:

  1. Unsafe or inappropriate working conditions

    If the maid resigns due to unsafe, unhygienic, or hostile conditions, or any misconduct by the client, the replacement guarantee will be voided.

  2. Direct hiring outside Maidvy

    If the client engages the maid directly or attempts to bypass Maidvy's service process, the replacement benefit will not apply.

  3. Assignment of tasks beyond agreed scope

    If the maid is required to perform tasks outside the initially agreed service scope (e.g., heavy lifting, pet care, or non-domestic work), any resulting resignation will invalidate replacement eligibility.

Maidvy implements this policy to protect both clients and maids, ensuring transparency and fair service engagement.

6. Client Responsibilities

By availing Maidvy services, the client agrees to adhere to the following responsibilities to ensure smooth service operations and mutual trust:

6.1 Provide a Safe and Respectful Work Environment

  • The client must ensure a safe, hygienic, and respectful workplace for the maid at all times.
  • Any form of harassment, misconduct, or unsafe conditions may lead to immediate service termination and cancellation of the replacement guarantee.

6.2 Timely Payment of Maid's Salary

  • The maid's salary must be paid promptly and in accordance with the agreed payment schedule.
  • Delayed or inconsistent salary payments can lead to service disruptions or the maid resigning, for which Maidvy will not be liable.

6.3 No Direct Hiring or Contract Breach

  • Clients must not bypass Maidvy by engaging or hiring maids directly during the active contract term.
  • Any attempt to circumvent Maidvy's service agreement will result in immediate contract termination and loss of replacement benefits.

6.4 Report Grievances and Service Issues Promptly

  • Clients should communicate any grievances, performance concerns, or service-related issues directly to Maidvy for timely resolution.
  • This enables Maidvy to provide support, guidance, or replacements as per the service agreement.

6.5 Safeguard Valuables and Sensitive Belongings

  • Clients are solely responsible for securing jewelry, cash, important documents, and other valuables at their premises.
  • As the maid operates under the client's supervision, Maidvy does not assume responsibility for the security of household belongings.

By following these responsibilities, clients help maintain a professional, secure, and transparent service experience with Maidvy.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Scope of Responsibility

Maidvy acts solely as a service facilitator and is not liable for:

  • Theft, loss, or damage to any property occurring once the maid is under the client's direct supervision.
  • Personal conflicts or misunderstandings between the client and the deployed maid.

Once deployment is complete, day-to-day supervision and task management are the sole responsibility of the client.

7.2 Exclusion of Indirect or Consequential Damages

Maidvy will not be held liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
  • Financial losses, or
  • Any disruption to household operations arising from the use of our services.

This includes scenarios where the client relies on the maid for tasks beyond the agreed scope.

7.3 Tasks Outside Agreed Service Scope

If the maid is assigned tasks outside the predefined service scope (e.g., heavy lifting, construction work, handling hazardous materials, or other non-domestic duties):

  • Maidvy shall not be liable for any resulting incidents or damages.
  • Such actions may void the replacement guarantee and limit client support.

7.4 Client Responsibility for Supervision and Security

Clients are strongly encouraged to:

  • Supervise maids during their work hours,
  • Secure valuables, cash, and sensitive documents, and
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and respectful home environment.

Maidvy's role is limited to facilitating the service, and responsibility for household safety and daily supervision rests with the client.

8. Service Cancellation and Refunds

8.1 Cancellation Before Deployment

  • If a client cancels the service before the maid deployment, any refund eligibility will be governed by the specific terms outlined in the service contract.
  • Processing of refunds, if applicable, will follow the company's standard policy and timelines.

8.2 No Refunds Post Deployment

  • Once a maid has been deployed, service charges become non-refundable, except in circumstances where a prior written agreement has been made between Maidvy and the client.
  • This policy protects against operational costs and resource allocation incurred during service facilitation.

8.3 Adjustment of Booking Advances

  • If deployment is delayed at the client's request, any booking advance paid may be adjusted toward future services.
  • Such adjustments are subject to availability of suitable candidates and the agreed contract period.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

9.1 Commitment to Client Privacy

Maidvy is committed to protecting and safeguarding all client information. We follow strict privacy protocols to ensure that personal, contact, and service-related data remains secure and confidential at all times.

9.2 Usage of Client Data

  • Client information is collected solely for the purpose of:
    1. Service delivery
    2. Booking coordination
    3. Service-related communication
  • Maidvy does not use client data for any other commercial purpose without explicit consent.

9.3 No Unauthorized Sharing of Information

  • Maidvy does not sell, trade, or share client information with any third parties.
  • Data may only be disclosed if required by law, regulatory authority, or legal obligation.
  • All employees, agents, and partners of Maidvy are bound by confidentiality agreements to maintain data security.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1 Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India, ensuring full compliance with all applicable national and state regulations.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes, claims, or grievances arising from our services shall first be addressed amicably through discussion and mediation.
  • If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dwarka, New Delhi.
